Privacy and Security Policy

Colorado Lending Source cares about small business owners, community bankers, and resource partners.  Your trust means everything to us. To help maintain that trust, we’ve created this Privacy and Security Policy.   We do not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. This policy is your guide to how we will handle information we learn about you from your visit to our website.

Information Provided by You

We only directly collect personal information about you when you submit such information to us through our website.  For example, when you submit an online form, register for an event, sign up for a mailing list, apply to participate in our educational activities, or participate in the recruitment process for employment.  Basically, any time you choose to submit personal information through our website but at no other time.

Once we have that personal information, we might use your contact details to send further information about our organization, educational opportunities we think might benefit you, or to contact you when necessary. You may always opt out of receiving future emails (see the "Opt Out" section below).

Again, your trust means everything to us and we want to make sure everyone is on the same page: we will not obtain personal information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide such information to us. We never require you to provide information through our website (it turns out some people still like to use their phone to speak with other human beings; we’re OK with that too!).

Except as described below, Colorado Lending Source will never disclose personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name or contact information, to third parties unless Colorado Lending Source has permission or is required by law.

Colorado Lending Source will never rent, trade or sell e-mail addresses gathered through the website for commercial purposes.

Opt-Out

You can always opt out of receiving emails from us by sending an email to [email protected], or by clicking the unsubcribe link in one of our emails.

Automatic logs of web site access
We automatically collect and store non-personal information about your visit to our site.  Such information includes, for example, your IP address, the date and time you access our site and the Internet address of the website from which you linked to our site.  This information doesn’t allow us to personally identify you, but does allow us to understand how people, in general, are finding us on the internet and how our site is being used.  That, in turns, helps us provide you with the most relevant and useful information.

We may provide log files to third parties for analysis so we can better understand traffic through our site. But, again, these log files do not contain personal information.

Colorado Lending Source may work with third-party vendors to provide special features such as online payment processing. When we do use third party vendors, they’re not allowed to use your personally identifiable information except as it relates to helping us help you.  And, they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Sometimes on our website we provide links to other organizations’ websites and, therefore, the other organizations’ servers. We take no responsibility for, and exercise no control over, the other organizations or their views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers.

We use personal information from email and online forms primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other employees who are better able to answer your questions. We may also use your email to contact you in the future about programs that may be of interest.  Again, you can always opt out of receiving email communications as described above.
