Colorado Lending Source (CLS) plays the role of a companion lender, providing second mortgage loans behind and in conjunction with a conventional partner bank lender loan. CLS does this to: (a) provide a small business owner with the opportunity to acquire or improve a commercial property with “less money down” than typical conventional loans (which thus encourages that business to make a purchase or improvement decision sooner, rather than later); and, (b) to take some risk away from bank lenders to encourage them to make more loans to small business owners.
To ensure that partner bank lenders, small business owners and the professionals who advise them (CPAs, attorneys, brokers, etc.) understand the programs available through CLS, how they work and what the appropriate parameters are, CLS offers regular, informative, FREE workshops and training classes at key locations across the state.
