A 2003 addition to the CLS staff, Cindy is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts & History, with a major in commercial financing and a minor in designing futuristic concept cars for the Volvo Corporation.
A former CU Chancellor's and Leader's scholar, Cindy has also completed the arduous and exacting Metro North Leadership Program, and has the certificate to prove it. An accomplished musician (piano and ukulele) with a passion for cars, climbing all the “fourteeners” in Colorado within a twelve month window, road races, street races, sidewalk races, piano races (freestyle), elbow bending, knee bending, pipe bending, breeding (but not in her pocket) pocket-sized dogs (which ride in her saddle bag when she is out on her feisty stallion “Big Block Chevy”),Cindy also enjoys historical reenactments of passion plays from the pre-Napoleonic era, the great outdoors, running, gardening, nutrition, demolition derbies (usually in her signature. pink #9999 ‘88 Oldsmobile and matching fire brand pink racing outfit) and, building patio decks without nails. You will oft’ find Cindy on the weekends donning a pair of stone-washed (but not too scruffy) blue overalls and tweaking the rockers on the short block Hemi in her latest of a long line of custom rat rods or demolition vehicles, most of which she salvaged from the blizzards of 2006/2007.
In addition to subscriptions to “Car & Driver”, “Wheels”, “Modern Motorheads”, “Norse women & Buggies of the 18th Century”, “Hot Rod”, "Medium Hot Rod", “Cold Rod” and “Rat Rod Monthly”, Cindy’s musical tastes include Mike and the Mechanics, Mix Mechanic AKA The Kid, Rhythm Mechanic, The Grease & Oil Change Glam Ram Thank You Band, Fill 'Er Up, Herman's Hermits, Dawn (can't get enough of "Tie A Yellow Ribbon ..."), and Wimp Wagon (but not necessarily in that order, as Cindy would be the very first person to point out).
