A 2001 addition to the CLS staff, Joe is a distinguished and sometimes disguised US military veteran with an MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit, where he worked for 15 years (the city, not the university) as a CFO before moving to Denver in 1983, where he began a financial consulting partnership. This led him to the SBDC at Front Range Community College, where he taught for many years before joining Colorado Lending Source in 2001.
As befits his Boulder residency and far left leaning republican tendencies, Joe was an avid collector of celebrity Birkenstocks although he recently swapped his complete and highly regarded collection of these, along with a box of defective 3G 10 meg iPods (and an old copy of “Debbie Does Dallas” which he found on the CU campus after a CU Vs CSU football game), to President Kim II Sung in return for a small thermonuclear device. Joe is currently exploring options associated with acquiring a container of flared jeans (just in case they come back) and as many PS3’s as allowed under the Geneva convention. Joe’s musical tastes include Velvet Underground, Butthole Surfers and Prince (“t-a-f-n-a”) pre-Super Bowl.
