A 2006 addition to the CLS staff, Kim is a Colorado native with more than 17 years of commercial banking and SBA lending experience. Kim has a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree in advanced spoon bending from the Uri Geller Institute of Looking at you Funny. A mountain person at heart, Kim enjoys cycling, skiing, mountaineering, snow boarding, scuba diving, rambling on ragged rocks, rogaining (not the hair restorer), orienteering, orientations, aardvarks, Xtreme races, overseas travel and volunteering for all the most dangerous Alpine Rescue patrols.

While in pursuit of these later interests, Kim has cultivated a wonderful expertise on the history of the 10th Mountain Division which trained during World War II at Camp Hale in Central Colorado and suffered more casualties, in relative terms, than any other US expeditionary force in the second great war. This expertise extends to a knowledge of the nickname of every solider stationed there (including all the European troops, except for one who’s name was Nick), along with his favorite color, inside leg measurement, dog tag number, ski boot size, breakfast choices, tooth brush color, kit cutlery and Kit Carson (but not in that order).

Kim’s musical tastes range from Snow Patrol through Jack Jones, Sunny, off to Cher, the Doobie Brothers, the Twisted Sisters, Nirvana, Counting Crows, Simon but not Garfunkle, and back to Snow Patrol again.
