Debra Morack

Debra Morack, Loan Closing Officer

A 2005 addition to the CLS staff, Debra joined Colorado Lending Source after many years as an assistant SBA closing officer with a well-regarded Colorado law firm. With a legal mind, a grown family and the unique ability to win door prizes at many of the chamber events she attends on behalf of CLS, Debra enjoys ice hockey, baseball, reading, life in less metropolitan Denver and her world-class caterpillar collection.

As everyone knows, a caterpillar has three pairs of short little legs, are vegetarian and have strong jaws for chewing through leaves and plants. Some caterpillars have smooth skin and are green; others are hairy and brown, and it is this latter genre that particular interests Debra. On the weekends, you will oft’ find Debra on the banks of the South Platte either dangling a line in the stream or racing brown hairy caterpillars for money. Debra is, in fact, a well known local fishing identity, with her own waders (brown and hairy, of course) and 678 piece lure set, enjoying nothing more than a long, drawn out tussle with members of the local Crappie clan on a cloudy Saturday afternoon. Debra’s musical tastes include Badly Drawn Boy, Rod Stewart, Brian Eno, Bonnie Pink, Pink, Pink Punk. Punk Pink, Hairy, Bo Diddley and James Blunt (shirtless).
