Becky is a 2007 addition to the CLS team, and exclusively represents the organization in the Colorado Springs market and areas south. Becky holds a BS in business administration from CU Boulder, with areas of emphasis revolving around accounting, entrepreneurship, small business management, and, Pearl Street on the weekends. During her occasional studies, Becky interned with the SBA’s Denver District Office and this led to her career as a commercial lender and SBA specialist, which has been a focus, albeit blurry, since 1994, when she first entered the workforce. In addition to financial and business planning skills, combined with many years of consulting, Becky is a competitive baker and culinary queen. At any local bake sale or fundraising events in the Colorado Springs area, it is not unusual to see lines of devotees forming in advance of the opening bell, wistfully anticipating a chance to purchase and partake of one of Becky’ capricious cupcakes. Fights are not uncommon (Becky even starts some of these herself), and a strong secondary market exists for her $20 fruit flanges, many of which sell for in excess of $42 on eBay.

A self-described “articulated professional”, Becky also has the ability to converse at length upon most topics and sometimes is asked to pen speeches for national politicians of all persuasions who find themselves on the “hustings” in downtown Colorado Springs. Another passionate interest of Becky’s is (or are) ducks. Becky claims the largest collection in the world, outside of Venezuela, of stuffed ducks, rubber ducks, duck clocks, duck light switches, duck towels, duck soap dispensers, Donald Ducks, duck bath mats, Scooge McDuck, Duck Tails, duck water bottles, duck ducks, duck duck goose board games and even duck costumes for her family at Halloween. She is often confused for Emma Thompson too, especially at bank training events, Merchant & Ivory film festivals and Star Trek conventions. Becky’s musical tastes include Burl Ives, Deerhoff, Eddie Harris, Jeff Beck (especially his “Constipated Duck” single) and the obscure but much loved Ducky Duck Tales Soup group.
