A 2005 addition to the CLS staff, Tod staffs the Colorado Lending Source Glenwood Springs Office. He holds an MBA from Colorado University, Denver and had more than 8 years of experience in Economic Development and small business assistance with the City of Lakewood before joining the CLS team.
Tod is a native of Downers Grove, Illinois and emigrated to Colorado in 1980 after a misunderstanding between two fire hydrants and a weinner dog named Wee Willie. Passions include home improvement, fixing things around the home, home repairs, visiting Home Depot, watching reruns of Tool Time, visiting Ace Hardware, dressing up as Bob Villa, visiting Lowes. cleaning out the septic tank with a toothbrush, collecting beer taps representative of home owners in the Venetian countryside from the early 20th century, and, clearing snow by hand from his driveway in winter.
Also a passionate fossil collector, Tod has a particular interest in Trilobites which, as everyone knows, were the hallmark of the Paleozoic period and extinct long before those Johnny-come-lately, smug and snooty dinosaurs even game into existence. Tod’s world-class collection includes an excellent representation of all nine orders, 150 families and 5,027 genera, any of which can be viewed by appointment after first painting the inside of his garage.
His musical tastes include The Fossils, Ginkgo Garden, the Nurmberg Symphony Orchestra, Mastodon, Madonna (no relation), and, Janet Jackson (pre-THAT Superbowl incident ...).
