Amber Boyer
Amber Boyer, Loan Officer
A 2006 addition to the CLS staff, Amber is a graduate of Colorado State University, where she received a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate, together with a certificate in International Business with an emphasis on business planning in the Urals (with a particular emphasis on the delightful flora and fauna of Sverdlovsk, within which region she is generally known by the locals as “that crazy person from Denver”).
Prior to joining the CLS team, Amber spent some time as a loan processor in Hawaii where she cultivated both her financial skills and expertise in pineapple growing along with Conchoscopy. In fact, her collection of marine, freshwater, terrestrial, arboreal and fossil shells is among the best in this part of the world.
The pride of her collection is a rare black Cowrie found while deep sea diving without a tank, mask or snorkel off the coast of Kauai, which was a most remarkable find as these shells are native only to the far south Pacific. Amber enjoys setting off metal detectors at airports, boating, sailing, wind-surfing, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, volleyball (in which she excels!!), rubber rafting, body surfing, paddling, boxing, punting, racing 18 foot skiffs, surf life saving duties, and, the great outdoors. One of her ambitions is to be the first woman to sail solo down the Colorado River on an inner tube borrowed from a Prius parked near the intersection of 19th & Broadway, from the beautiful genesis of the stream in the high country of Colorado all the way down to the languid and occasionally clear (but only very occasionally) headwaters in the Gulf of California.
Her musical interests include Water Boyz, Water Men, Water Women, Water Gulls, Big Fish, Red Fish, Hummer the Bummer, Beenie Man, Lenora Troia, U2, Serah, Justin Timberlake (shirtless, of course), Red Hot Chile Peppers, and the avante garde artist formerly known as The Big Wet Floppy Haddock.
