Colorado Lending Source
Front Range Regional Economic Development Corporation, d.b.a. Colorado Lending Source (CLS), is a private, nonprofit, community based organization that assists small businesses access attractive, fixed-rate, long-term financing on real estate and equipment expansion projects.
CLS was organized in 1990 by a diverse group of forward-thinking community leaders comprising banks, business owners and economic development practitioners, all sharing the objective of promoting and assisting with the growth and development of small business concerns located in the region.
The mission of Colorado Lending Source is to foster the economic growth of diverse small businesses within, around and across this big wide and colorful state.
To achieve this mission, CLS relies on a small but dedicated staff, a volunteer board who provides the vision for the organization and a volunteer membership base which provides members of the board and participates in the external CLS loan review committee process.

CLS is a membership based organization. Membership is free and members must represent one of four categories (lenders; small businesses; community organizations; & government groups) and no single category may control the other three. As an annual community service event to help raise funds for Outward Bound and other worthwhile causes, Colorado Lending Source staff, friends and members participate in the annual Colorado Relay Race over 26+ hours each September. The course winds across the Rockies, from Idaho Springs to Glenwood Springs (= 170 miles). The link HERE will take you to uncensored images from the three teams that CLS sponsored in 2007. |
