The SBA 7(a) Loan Program

The SBA 7(a) loan program can be used by small businesses to finance “a variety of general business purposes”. Most commonly the program is used to finance working capital, but it can also be utilized to finance commercial real estate acquisitions.

These loans are available to small businesses through private sector lenders like banks and credit unions.
Please note that Colorado Lending Source is NOT a private sector lender NOR is Colorado Lending Source a loan broker. Accordingly, we DO NOT place loans with financial instituions NOR do we find private sector lenders for small businesses looking for financing. There are certainly individuals and firms out there better qualified to do that than ourselves.
Colorado Lending Source is not authorized by the US Small Business Administration to administer the 7(a) loan program but we are available to assist community-based private sector lenders and their viable small business clients, process and package 7(a) loans.
